April is here and the "Sakura", AKA Cherry Blossoms,
are in full bloom.
The blooms at Kintai Kiko Park are amazing &
The weather is warming up with highs in the 60's this week.
We participated in the Japanese tradition of Hanami.
"Hanami" is the centuries-old practice of picnicking under a blooming sakura or ume tree.
On Sunday we went to to the Park with Lauren, Jessica & Josh.
Paul doing the Standard Japanese Picture Pose,
Bilroy getting lots of Kawai Love,
Paul eating a corn dog,
Notice the Picnic Karaoke way in the background,
We returned to the park on Tuesday to catch the peak of the blooms,
Adriana is now 18 weeks and keeps growing fast.
She is testing her vocal chords very loudly and waving her hands like a pageant queen.
This is what happens when you turn around for 5 seconds & don't use the seatbelt on the baby swing,
Her current favorite toy is the green monkey & boy is jealous,
She is also very much enjoying the Jumperoo,
Her Tia Susanna sent her an adorable new hat,
But I think Boy wears it best,
This adorable ensemble was also a gift from Susanna (& Berenice),
Before I chopped off all my hair this week (8+ inches), I took some pictures of my long locks which had to go. WAY too much maintenance and no time with baby.
& After
Family Time,
<3 N
